Quesada Cigar Factory
Under the direction of Nat Sherman’s Michael Herklots, the second generation of Sparky cigars were made by hand in the Dominican Republic by Quesada Cigars. The first generation of the Sparky cigars were manufactured by the “Para Ti” factory. The “Para Ti” factory was a code name for a small experimental cigar factory located within what was the Quesada’s tobacco storage facility in Licey. In 2012 the Quesada family moved their entire cigar manufacturing factory from their former location at MATASA in Santiago, to the current location in Licey, operating as Quesada Cigars.
